Because I find it theraputic, I may end up writing in this journal from time to time.
This past Wednesday I went to a hospital in Halifax(that's the Nova Scotia one, buddy, don't get any funny ideas) to find out about my sorry excuses for kidneys. As it turns out, my "IgA Nephropathy" as the Specialist so eloquently puts it, is now in the IIB category instead of the IIIB, which means that over the past 6 years of restraining myself everytime i came close to a saltshaker have, in some small way, paid off.
Granted, I'm 80 pounds heavier than I was when I started with the steroids and whatnot, but I hope to change that. It's nice to see that all the money that's going into my medication is actually helping me.
Nova Scotia is such a Beautiful place. It's a crying shame that the weather is such an awful thing. However, it is steadily getting warmer, and the trees are finally getting some leaves. Next week, I think, they'll bud out, and good photos shall arise.
